G. Robert Williams, Ph.D., is President of Secure Logistix Corporation. Due to his security expertise, he is actively involved in U.S. government antiterrorism activities and has received federal commendations for his efforts. His experience includes positions as founder of e-learning Enterprise Certified Corporation; president of the professional services for PDS Advanced Technologies; president and founder of the UNIX applications developer Decathlon Data Systems; senior executive at UNISYS/System Development Corporation; and dean of research at both the University of California, Los Angeles, and California State Polytechnic University. He regularly consults for Fortune 1000 companies and governmental agencies. Dr. Williams has been the featured speaker at international road shows sponsored by Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, Compaq, and Tech Data. Mark Walla is President of Enterprise Certified Corporation. He previously served as chief technology officer at PDS Advanced Technologies. He has consulted for Microsoft Corporation and Hewlett-Packard, where he helped develop integration strategy and materials for the national tour Integration 97/98. While consulting for US West, he evaluated network management tools, and at Bay Networks he was the technical lead for sustaining released software and customers' hot site issues. He was also a software engineer at Motorola with software design and testing responsibilities and an embedded software engineer at Storage Technology. Walla has written a number of technical articles for Computer World, Platform Decisions, and Windows NT/2000 magazines and was a contributor to and technical editor of the book Windows NT and UNIX: Administration, Coexistence, Integration, and Migration (Addison-Wesley, 1998), as well as the coauthor of The Ultimate Windows 2000 System Administrator's Guide (Addison-Wesley, 2000).
