Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 have vastly expanded their support for international languages. In addition to the languages formerly supported by Windows 2000, Windows Xpand .NET can support Galician, Gujarati, Kannada, Kyrgyz, Mongolian (Cyrillic), Punjabi, Divehi, Syriac, and Telugu. This support includes not only standard languages but also sublanguages like Canadian French and UK English. Along with this support, the operating systems reflect regional settings including calendars, keyboards, currency, numbers, and date and time formats.
Localization settings can be modified by following these actions: Start Control Panel Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options Regional and Language Options Languages Details.
